Atelier Calla (Haiti): Atelier Calla was started in 2007 to revitalize the artisan work with bone, horn, and wood in Haiti while combating the low employment rate and degrading education system. This workshop supports 20 families (over 100 people) with guaranteed pay above minimum wage, one daily mean, an annual bonus and life insurance.
Prodigal Pottery (United States): Prodigal Pottery is handmade by women fleeing homelessness, domestic abuse and sex-trafficking. The women learn pottery making, receive financial training, emotional care and support, professional skills and assistance finding stable housing and long-term employment.
Jaggery (India): Jaggery is a women-led social enterprise that converts industrial waste material into a range of professional bags and multipurpose accessories. The organization was founded on the principles of sustainability, fair trade, and global citizenry. Their goals align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
