Since the earthquake in 2010, Peace by Piece partner, Deux Mains, has created over 415,000 hours of work for the people of Haiti (the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere). Through the purchase of their products, the direct effect on lives is extraordinary. A few of the things achieved by participants employed by Deux Mains include a 92% increase in food security and a 53% average decrease in debt. Over 90 people have been transitioned into safe housing and more than 20 local schools are supported.
