Peace by Piece International works with over 30 nonprofit partners and social enterprises selected specifically for their direct impact on people’s lives. This gift set provides new beginnings for underserved communities through these partner organizations:
- Deux Mains has created over 415,000 hours of work for the people of Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Gifts are handmade primarily from upcycled inner tubes and re-purposed leather. Deux Mains employees see a 92% increase in food security and 53% average decrease in debt. Over 90 people have been transitioned into safe housing and more than 20 local schools are supported.
- Homeless Garden Project creates job training programs for individuals in Santa Cruz who are experiencing homelessness. Their products are handcrafted by the trainees in their program and feature produce and flowers they grow on their organic farm in the coastal town of Santa Cruz, California.
