Craft Boat sees a world where sustainable design empowers artisan communities. Every ethically handmade paper good they produce provides a dignified income to a small community of Indian craftspeople. With something as simple as a unique desktop accessory, with Craft Boat you can preserve ancient Indian traditions, support ethical craftsmanship, and create inclusive employment for individuals with disabilities. Craft Boat also remains dedicated to sustainable production, with all items being crafted from recycled rags and paper, successfully recycling thousands of pounds of clothing scraps to date while providing meaningful income to over 20 people.
Thistle Farms was founded in 1997 to help women survivors find physical and emotional healing through a free two-year, holistic program. Women receive trauma therapy, recovery support, community, and employment. Through its social enterprises—including a body and home product line and a café—Thistle Farms creates employment opportunities that support healing and financial independence. All proceeds are reinvested into its programs, fostering a community where women can rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
