This gift set supports three Peace by Piece International partners:
The Homeless Garden Project is a nonprofit organization based in Santa Cruz, CA, dedicated to providing job training, transitional employment, and support services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Through its organic farm, the project offers a therapeutic environment where participants engage in sustainable agriculture, gain valuable work experience, and build a sense of community. The farm’s produce is distributed via a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and sold at local markets, with proceeds supporting the organization’s mission. Additionally, the project offers volunteer opportunities and educational programs to foster community engagement and awareness.
Grønn is located in La Antigua, Guatemala, dedicated to tackling glass waste and generating meaningful job opportunities. Through the collection of discarded glass bottles, the organization provides a supportive environment where local artisans can nurture their talents and develop valuable skills. These artisans transform the repurposed materials into a beautiful range of customizable drinking glasses, a sustainable process that has successfully kept over 1.4 million bottles from entering landfills. Through ongoing collaborations with artists, restaurants, and businesses, Grønn sustains a dedicated workforce while serving as a benchmark for the circular economy and environmental innovation.
