About the Makers
This Peace by Piece International partner, Prodigal Pottery, works with women escaping homelessness, domestic abuse, and sex-trafficking to create handmade pottery in Birmingham, Alabama. Additionally, they provide financial training, emotional support, professional skill development, and assistance to find employment and stable living situations. Prodigal Pottery does not turn any woman away based on her past. They believe in building up and empowering women to help them take hold of their future.
