This handmade gift is made at Peace by Piece’s partner workshop in New Delhi, India, WORK+SHELTER. There, the women learn sewing and other skills to create high-quality products for the export market. The only hiring prerequisite is demonstrated economic need. Our partner provides sweatshop-free labor, fair wages, and livelihood benefits for employees. Each of the women earn 3 times the standard wage in India and is guaranteed income security like savings support and their own bank account. This minimizes their financial dependency on often abusive spouses, charity, or exploitative work.

Various straps available including matching rPET or webbing. Navy rPET (recycled from plastic bottles) is standard. Custom fabric colors available for orders over 500 pieces.
