About the Makers
This gift box supports Peace by Piece International partner, The Homeless Garden Project, a nonprofit organization based in Santa Cruz, CA, dedicated to providing job training, transitional employment, and support services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Through its organic farm, the project offers a therapeutic environment where participants engage in sustainable agriculture, gain valuable work experience, and build a sense of community. The farm’s produce is distributed via a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and sold at local markets, with proceeds supporting the organization’s mission. Additionally, the project offers volunteer opportunities and educational programs to foster community engagement and awareness.
