Peace by Piece International works with over 30 nonprofit partners and social enterprises selected specifically for their direct impact on people’s lives. Your purchase supports the following organizations:

  • My Cup of Tea makes its specialty tea in the heart of Orange Mound, Tennessee, the oldest African-American community in the U.S. My Cup of Tea provides personal and professional resources that empower women living in poverty to support their families and serve their community.
  • BeeLove employs people returning home from incarceration. They provide opportunities to establish a positive work history, learn productive work habits, and become productive members of society. Every purchase of their products reduces the number of people who return to prison by providing the support, confidence and skills needed to re-enter the workforce.
  • Itza Wood exists to create jobs and foster positive social impact in a place where the poverty is crushing, the Northern Petén Jungle. Itza Wood is linking families to a future with hope and well-being by creating local, sustainable employment. All purchases benefit The Jungle School, a safe place where 400 students come daily from 9 local villages. Over 45,000 trees were planted by Itza in the region before they ever cut a tree. All wood is native, sustainably harvested and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified.
  • At Prodigal Pottery, the women learn pottery making, receive financial training, emotional care and support, professional skills and assistance finding stable housing and long-term employment. Prodigal Pottery works directly out of King’s Home, a women’s shelter outside of Birmingham, Alabama for women fleeing homelessness and domestic abuse.
