Contributing organizations include:
Sal de Aqui (Mexico City, Mexico) produces organic salts following fair trade principals. Everything is ethically sourced from small producers throughout Mexico. All processes are manual from harvesting to preparation and packaging. Adults with learning disabilities are at the center of packaging and distribution through a partnership with Fundación Acami (FA), a non-profit who supports the integration of these adults into society through useful and gratifying employment.
Canaan Palestine (Burqin, Palestine) works with over 2,000 artisan family farms from 52 villages that have practiced sustainable regenerative agricultural methods for centuries. They engage year-round with these communities, committed to long-term partnerships with fair trade principles that ensure transparency, full direct payment, fair prices and purchase guarantees.
Women’s Bean Project (Denver, CO, US) believes that all women have the power to transform their lives through employment. They hire women who are chronically unemployed and teach them to work by making nourishing products, while acquiring the tools needed to sustain themselves and their families for a lifetime.
