At Prodigal Pottery, the women learn pottery making, receive financial training, emotional care and support, professional skills and assistance finding stable housing and long-term employment. Prodigal Pottery works directly out of King’s Home, a women’s shelter outside of Birmingham, Alabama for women fleeing homelessness and domestic abuse.
Modern Sprout is a Peace by Piece Planet Partner. Their mission is to uncomplicate indoor gardening. They use hydroponics to design space-savvy products and allow all gardeners to enjoy the holistic qualities of plants, frustration-free. A percentage of proceeds are donated to Pollinator Partnership for ecosystem protection and they provide employment to vulnerable residents in Chicago.
