This leather gift, offered by Peace by Piece, is made in Rwanda, Africa, by Dokmai, a social enterprise that employs young Rwandan women and men to work as highly-skilled leather artisans. The workshop is committed to training and employing the younger generation who struggle to find stable employment at fair trade wages in their country. Currently, the workshop ensures the livelihood of 13 Rwandan families, adhering to the principles of fair trade and social responsibility.
