MADE by DWC (Downtown Women’s Center) is a social enterprise program based in Los Angeles, California, dedicated to empowering women transitioning out of homelessness. Through skill-building workshops and job training in crafting, manufacturing, and retail, MADE by DWC offers women a path toward financial independence and self-sufficiency. By producing unique, handmade products, the program generates income that directly supports the Downtown Women’s Center and its mission to end homelessness for women. The program not only provides dignified employment opportunities but also fosters a supportive community, allowing women to rebuild confidence and establish meaningful connections.
